Yet another instance where God speaks through me to my kids - and I am not the author of it.
As my children were watching the Disney movie Bolt, Peter asked what made Bolt so brave {in one scene, Bolt runs into a burning building to save his person, Penny}. I responded with, "because he loved her that much. Kinda like Jesus when he died on the cross. He asked for the cup to be removed, but because he loved his daddy and us so much he was able to be brave and died on the cross for our sins."
Peter's response was, "Oh, okay." And he kept watching the movie.
Lord, may those little seeds stick in my children's minds. May they find good soil and grow to produce 5, 10 or 100-fold fruit. Amen.
