A couple days ago my oldest son Jared found the Minesweeper game on our computer. He has enjoyed trying to figure out how to play it. He also had to show his younger brother Peter how to play it.
This morning Peter asked what mines are. We went back and forth with questions and answers for a while in order for him to understand what they were and where to find them.
Then He started to cry. I asked what was wrong and he said that he was scared for little kids that live near mine fields. Then he wanted to pray for the kids so they wouldn't be hurt and would stay safe.
His final request was for me to remove the Minesweeper game from the computer so he would have to be scared. (He thought the numbers on the board were the number of kids in the mine field.) So we no longer have that game on our computer.
I love his tender heart!
