...your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Sometimes Christmas can be busy and go by fast. Ours was not that way this year. We opened presents Christmas Eve and woke up Christmas morning to a house full of head colds. That meant we weren't going anywhere or doing anything in an effort to not share sickness at Christmas. :)
The day was calm, slow and simple (chicken soup for our meal). But I ended the day with a prayer for Christ to come back.
There was a strong desire in my heart to see that baby that grew up to die with my eyes. To see the last days come and to see God finally defeat all sin and sorrow and most of all Satan. To come back and stop all things, including my heart, from profaning his name.
This is my prayer today and for the new year. So Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Even So Come Lord Jesus!
