Last year a tree was removed from our yard because it was rotted through. The hole inside the stump became a compost pile for the winter. I think fruit and veggies and dead flowers were thrown in it. I didn't intentionally plant anything in it.

My husband commented last night on how it is a picture of our lives - I think he is right. We throw things into our lives and it turns into a garbage heap. But God takes the good soil of Christ and dead seeds and makes us into a beautiful garden, just like the one described in Song of Solomon 4:12-15.
