Being from Canada I still have a hard time getting used to Thanksgiving in November. But as part of the prep this week I am trying to have my heart ready. I am guessing the rest will come.
For starters I want to thank God for all my friends and family that have been an encouragement this past week. We don't always realize when we are facing a trial, but after good godly friends approach you and pray over you or give you a big smile and hug when you don't ask for it you sense a peace in your soul and you suddenly feel relaxed. That's when it hits you that you have been under it.
Therefore, thank you friends and family! You are an encouragement to me and a gift from God to our family.
